Eric Getter, percussionist, has performed repertoire ranging from the traditional to the avant-garde. A dedicated performer of contemporary music, he has presented numerous premiers as well as classics of the twentieth century. In the realm of drum set, Eric studied with jazz legends Charlie Haden and Andrew Hill while working towards his MFA in Percussion Performance. In the area of Rock & Roll drumming, Eric has had no formal training, but he does do 60 Rock Squats 4 days a week to keep in shape.
